Invite friends to your Palworld server
Palworld supports co-op with up to 32 players on a dedicated server. Unlike some other games there is no invite link – your friends connect directly via IP address and port.
Step 1: Find the server address and port
Once your server shows as ready, the connection details appear in the server tile on your dashboard.

Note down:
- IP address (or subdomain if you've configured one)
- Port (Palworld default: 8211)
Share this combination with your friends.
Step 2: Set the max player count
In the PalworldSettingsWizard set ServerPlayerMaxNum to the desired value (1–32). Guidelines:
| Player count | Recommended value | RAM estimate |
|---|---|---|
| 2–4 players | 4–8 | 8–10 GB |
| 5–10 players | 10 | 12–14 GB |
| 11–20 players | 20 | 16 GB |
| 21–32 players | 32 | 20–24 GB |
Save after the change – the server restarts automatically.
Step 3: Optionally set a password
- No password (leave empty): Anyone who knows the server address can join immediately.
- Set a password: Only players who have the password can join. Enter the chosen password in the ServerPassword field in the wizard.
If you want a password but still want the server listed in the community browser: that's fine – players see it in the browser and are asked for the password when they try to join.
Step 4: Make it visible in the community browser
Enable the COMMUNITY_SERVER toggle in the wizard so your server appears in the public Palworld community browser. This way players can find it even if you haven't shared the IP directly with them.
Step 5: Join as a player
Your friends launch Palworld, go to "Multiplayer" → "Community Servers" (if the toggle is on) or choose "Connect Directly" and enter the IP + port 8211. After a brief loading screen they appear on your server.
Summary
Palworld multiplayer needs no invite links: share the server address + port, optionally set a password and enable the community toggle if the server should be publicly visible. Adjust the max player count (1–32) in the panel wizard. Next up: crossplay – which platforms can join since v0.5.0.
