Rent a Minecraft Server – How to Do It Right
Your own Minecraft server gives you full control over your gaming experience. In this guide, we show you how to set up your server in just a few minutes.
Requirements
- Minecraft Java Edition or Bedrock Edition
- A server from game-serverhosting.de (from 2.99 EUR/month)
Step 1: Order a Server
- Choose your Minecraft plan on game-serverhosting.de
- Choose the desired RAM size (recommendation: 4 GB for 5-10 players)
- Choose your preferred subdomain
Step 2: Configure the Server
After ordering, your server will be set up automatically. You will receive:

Step 3: Connect
Start Minecraft and enter your address under "Multiplayer" → "Add Server":

Thanks to Geyser + Floodgate, Bedrock players can join directly via the Bedrock Edition.

Performance Tips
- Use Paper or Purpur instead of Vanilla for better performance
- Set
view-distanceto 8-10 instead of the default 32 - Use plugins such as Chunky to pregenerate the world
