Valve Flavoured Item Balance Update (Ver. 1.0)

Only works in Single Player or Local Servers (obviously) [h2]A minimalistic themed item rebalance that buffs undertuned items.[/h2] Why is it "Valve Flavored" exactly? None of the changes go against Valve designs/ideologies. One example I commomly see is a buff that makes adrenaline give reload, damage, or swing speed boost, this isn't something Valve added, so I'm not adding it either and I see it as going against "Valve ideology". Instead I just buff the preexisting stats (cvars) a tiny amount to make certain items better, playing more to the items strengths rather than adding new mechanics. (One exception is the bile bomb slowing) Valve did a fine job balancing the items in the game already, so very little is changed in this pack. I did not include Special Ammo as I'm still thinking about how to go about that. This pack was playtested by over 40 players in both Expert Campaign and Expert Realism. Versus testing was limited, but it will work as a survivor side buff. [h3]Changes include:[/h3] Adjusted molotov/gas can friendly fire damage Longer fuse on the pipe bomb (9 seconds, originally 6 seconds) Bile Bomb/Vomit Jar slows the tank down by 20% (forces his walking animation). This makes it so hitting a tank with one is no longer a "poor move" as some pro's would say, as it spawns a horde for little benefit. Adrenaline had its stats buffed, it gives 5 bonus health, 7% greater speed, and lasts 5 seconds longer. All explosions (such as pipe bombs, propane tanks, and oxygen tanks) now do 650 damage at the center of the explosion, instead of the terrible 25 from before (why the hell was the damage so low Valve?) Medkits and Pain Pills are perfectly balanced and need no changes. Defibrillators and Special Ammo are unchanged at the moment, but I am considering certain adjustments to them that fit. All Weapons - Remastered

A script created for my vision of the game, improving and simultaneously balancing every weapon in the game. Major changes (briefly): - Damage increased for almost every weapon. - Ammo capacity adjusted. - Each weapon now has its own tactics and fighting style. - Melee weapon hitboxes are now larger and better. - The Grenade Launcher now has a larger damage radius. - The Desert Eagle has been fixed. Details: Pistols. - Pistols: Increased damage and slightly improved accuracy. - Desert Eagle: Became weaker and its ammo capacity reduced to 7 bullets. Common infected now die in two shots. Submachine Guns. - Uzi: Increased damage and accuracy. - Mac-10: Increased damage than the Uzi, but less accurate. - MP5: Increased damage and accuracy. Shotguns. - Pump-Action; Higher damage, but less accurate. Magazine capacity is now 10 rounds. - Chrome; Damage and accuracy are significantly higher and better. Auto Shotguns. - SPAS-12; Increased damage and accuracy. - M1014; Slightly increased damage, magazine capacity increased to 12 rounds. Rifles. - M16; More powerful, slightly improved accuracy. - AK-47; Significantly increased damage, less accurate. - SCAR; Slightly increased accuracy and damage. - SG 552; Increased damage, infinite range, decreased rate of fire per second (12.12 -> 10.5). Sniper Rifles. - Hunting Rifle; More powerful, magazine capacity increased to 20. - Military Sniper Rifle; More powerful, slightly slower rate of fire. - Scout; Twice as powerful, accuracy improved. - AWP; Damage increased by 4x, magazine size decreased to 10. Heavy Weapon. - Grenade Launcher; Twice as powerful, radius increased by 1/3, bonus damage to Tanks halved. - M60; More powerful, rate of fire slightly increased. Ammo: - Submachine Guns: 650 -> 750 - Shotguns: 72 -> 80 - Auto Shotguns: 90 - Automatic Rifles: 360 -> 400 - Hunting Rifle + AWP: 150 -> 160 - Sniper Rifles: 180 -> 210 Melee Weapons: The damage radius has been increased to 95. Hitboxes have been fixed, and weapons like pitchforks are no longer so nasty. The Chainsaw's damage has been doubled, the fuel lasts 15 seconds longer (30 -> 45), and the attack radius and range have been increased. My comments and clarifications: - Each weapon in the game has its own characteristics. I'm sure not many people know that, for example, the SPAS-12 is more powerful than the M1014 in the original. And this difference is so insignificant that you really think they're literally the same weapon in terms of stats, just with different animations, models, and sounds. I wanted to modernize this and make it more visually appealing. Each weapon now has its own playstyle. The Pump Shotgun is effective against Common Infected, having more ammo in the clip and pellets per round. Meanwhile, the Chrome Shotgun is much more effective against Special Infected due to its higher damage, allowing you to kill a Brute in two shots, and its improved accuracy. However, this doesn't mean the Chrome Shotgun is better than the Pump Shotgun just because it has more damage. I simply took the idea of weapon variety and their differences in stats and improved it. The developers didn't take into account that on higher difficulty levels, some people neglect melee or even primary weapons once a deagle appears in their inventory. If they use their primary weapon at all, it's only during the appearance/attack of Special Infected, and in rare cases. The deagle is a secondary weapon, but these selfish people are willing to abuse the game in every way possible, not for the sake of the gameplay itself, but to beat the game and feel like a "pro". In my experience, such people don't know how to play at all. And when asked "Why do you only use a deagle?" or requests to take a primary weapon because it would be more effective both in the game itself and in helping the team, these animals will react violently, insultingly, and simply inappropriately, snapping back, saying, "I play the way I want. Fuс|{ off". And I've been familiar with this problem for a long time. I didn't make the deagle completely useless or remove it from the game altogether. By simply making it more balanced, we can address both the game's imbalance and the monkeys who don't know how to behave, think, or play as a team. - Melee weapons have been fixed rather than simply improved. Hitboxes have become clearer and simpler. This has especially impacted the pitchforks with their idiotic hitboxes. The attack range has been increased slightly, which isn't noticeable in normal play, but it can help those with ping issues, and in situations where a hit on a zombie seems to have occurred, but the sound is heard, but the actual hit and the result are not registered. The latter happens quite often and is extremely annoying. - A separate idea for the ammunition: to create a unique ammo reserve for each weapon. And of course, it was supposed to combine the ammo in the clip so that each clip had the maximum ammo. But I had to abandon this idea because the weapons are divided into groups. The only thing I don't understand is why the AWP is in the same category as the Hunting Rifle. The only thing I didn't change was the ammo reserves of the auto-shotguns and grenade launcher. I think it's perfectly balanced.
